No ABC or ESPN on YouTube TV!

Fubo gives you the option to pause. It keeps all your recordings and not pay. You set the time. You could pause in the spring and use YouTube (or HBO Max) for March Madness.

Good week to be on TNT, i guess?

Yes I was loyal to Fubo but March Madness did it for me.

If this hurts the SEC, then so be it.
Never mind, most of their fans use the antenna at their trailer parks.

Our next two games are on FS1 (WV and UCF), then TCU at home (flying into Houston). That leaves only the Baylor game, because per chance, we make the Big XII Champ game, that is on ABC and can be viewed with antenna since it is nationally televised.

So, Coog fans probably don’t need to worry as the Baylor game probably has a significant chance of being on FS1 or TNT.

Yes Disney now owns Fubo now

That issue is why I dropped it and went back to DTV Stream, which includes ESPN Unlimited now. Even if you have Max, the interface sucks and isn’t at all like just having the channels - it’s more like on-demand, so you have to wait for things to start to tune in, and the guide is worthless.

It’s a clear downgrade to DTV, at least until they get in another carriage battle with Disney.

I love how espn is crying poor.

Thanks for the heads-up. I got the Hulu with ESPN Unlimited because we need other networks and DirecTV Stream doesn’t have an app for my LG Smart TV. (plus it cost quite a bit more).

I called ESPN and they refunded my annual subscription to ESPN Select since it also comes with Hulu.

I’ve been thinking about leaving YouTube TV and this gave me a good excuse to try Hulu.

The mouse is getting everyone to switch to services they own. Hulu live, espn app, and fubo. Shame.

I’ve noticed YouTube has retaliated a bit tonight. Typically YouTube blocks ESPN streams on regular YouTube, but I’ve seen streams for both Rice vs Memphis and NC vs Syracuse stay up and running tonight. Kind of interesting.

This is what I expected out of ESPN. They want to increase the price on YouTube TV subscribers to give SEC more money.

Screw ESPN and the SEC. My ESPN+ subscription ends at the end of November.

ESPN does not care about the Big 12. We are just an afterthought to them. Arrivederci ESPN!

They did the same thing to Directv customers last season.

So, I subscribed to ESPN+ in 2020 for $53, and in 2024, they increased it to $129, which is only 5 years later.

So, whenever you see anything that mentions Disney/ESPN, make sure you include the SEC with them.

Hulu is $64.99 for the first three months then $89.99/month. The difference is I don’t have to pay another $12.99/month (or $129 annually) for ESPN Select since it comes with ESPN Unlimited.

YouTube TV was $82.99/month, then I was paying for ESPN Select. It was $93.50/month (I did ESPN Select annually.)

DirecTV Stream isn’t available on my Smart TV app list and it costs even more than the two above.

It’s like them all, Disney with no ads used to be $5, HULU was like $25 a year, Netflix was 1/2 the price it is now 4 years ago. They will keep charging more and more until people stop paying, it’s that simple.

I can remember when people subscribed to two separate streaming services to have all the channels they wanted, and it costs less than it does for one service today.
