Temple is not good, but they game SMU a run for their money the other night before falling apart late.
I think this league would have been a great fit for a dickey led coog squad to get third place in.
Not a great fit for us the last couple years.
I actually like the AAC, but it seems like the teams all struggle more than they should.

Right. A Q1 win helps much more than a Q2 loss hurts, but once it starts getting into Q3 territory the loss starts getting held against you much more.

Our best Kenpom under Dickey was 132. ECU is 132 right now, Temple is 151 and Tulane is 192. Every other team is higher than that.
Our other Kenpoms under Dickey were 180 (the team with Joe Young, House and Tashawn), 190, and 222.
I guess middle of the pack out of 348 teams (or whatever the number was 10 years ago) isn’t good. Don’t remember us being quite that bad. Course i drank a lot more back then hehe.

sampson once said mahan was the best player we played tis season… i normally agree with sampson on most things, but this is one of the ones i do not agree with…mahan had a nice 5 game stretch but he isnt better than a quite a few players we’ve played
Wow! Can’t believe Temple actually beat UCF. That’s a terrible loss for UCF.

The ONLY comparison to PSJ was to DUNK the ball instead of missing lay ups. In the past 60 years I have been watching college basketball, I have noticed that there has been one or more teams that have “dunked” the ball. If I am wrong, and only PSJ teams have dunked the ball, I stand corrected . . . . .
Good news is UCF played their game today, lost at temple, so the game on Sunday should be a GO.

I don’t understand the high Illini ranking. 2-3 in quad one and a quad 2 loss. Yet 7 in net. 14 AP. Minnesota is probably their only good win.
Missouri shouldn’t be ranked either. They beat Wich St but they don’t have any other good wins.
Minnesota handling Michigan right now. Up 14 with 9:30 left.

If Butler could knock off Creighton, that would help too. Tie ball game with 3 mins left. Creighton was up 10 not too long ago.
