He did adjust. He didn’t try to run into 5+ man fronts and started throwing over the middle into the void created by the missing LBs. I would have liked to see Weigman throwing from sprint outs and attacking their edge, but I suspect he wasn’t healthy enough to do that too often.

I find it a bit odd that UH has not announced more information about the injury to Patrick Overmyer. No diagnosis of the condition, no x-ray or MRI results, if they were needed, no report that Overmyer is in concussion protocol, if Overmyer suffered a concussion. I am hoping that Overmyer is okay and did not suffer any significant injury. Overmyer has really blossomed into a key player in this offense.

Why would they release medical information that isn’t required to be made public?
Yeah, they’re keeping it quiet I guess if he does have some other injuries besides concussion, they don’t wanna have the defense zero in on that area

I agree it is not required to be released, but it is a standard practice to give an update on a player in the Monday presser.
It may be due to the off week; UH is not required to release an injury report this week. The B12 Conference requires injury reports three days before kickoff, and one final injury report 90 minutes before kickoff. The injury report does not list medical information, only availability. I would expect if Overmyer is listed next week on the injury report, Fritz will be asked by the media for details.

Stanford got run over trying to block. Did not see him much after he got put down on his back and pressure got to our quarterback…
Might make a great receiver if he can’t handle bigger competition.
Big fan of his and had not seen him get bullied before.
