He wasn’t featured in this last possession. Not looking good.

That cheap tackle may cost us a playoff birth.

He looked like he was seeings stars circling around his head when he stood-up.

Definitely, pretty sure he was concussed.

So likely out with a concussion then?

Yes

He looked a bit woozy. Back in the day we would hide the helmet from a player wobbling like that.

He was definitely seeings stars circle around his head and asking “what time is breakfast?”

I hereby cast my ballot for Overmyer as team mvp. Utah was able to harden up against the run inside the 10, and then throughout the second half, because Overmyer wasn’t available as a credible threat in red zone or relief valve situations. Weigman did seem like less of a running threat in the second half, but so much of the pressure Utah brought would either have been blocked by Overmyer, or would have had to respect his route and leave off the backfield.

Defense is catching a lot of grief for tackling but they pitched a first half shutout. Dampier started running but that still only bought them 14 points - the turnover and clock situation got them the other 7. It’s like in basketball when a team has a big shooter averaging 30 per game. His team still needs 70 to win, so if you shut everyone else down, he might get 40 but it’s still not enough.

Leaving the 3 points on the table the first drive ended up maybe the most consequential. 4th quarter with a 16-14 score brings a very different strategy from Utah than 13-14. Even so, having Overmyer for one red zone trip late in either half completely changes the game.

Wiggy is the MVP but Overmyer is up there…

Nagle should’ve adjusted once Utah was selling out on the blitz…

Idk… maybe should’ve put both RBs back there to protect…

Serious question.

If Overmyer is on the concussion protocol, what is the likelihood that he will be able to return in two weeks for the Cincy game, assuming, of course, that he has no complications?

1 week would be iffy, feel good about 2 weeks. Has the coaching staff updated Overmyer’s status at all?

If no issues, he should be good to go vs Cincy. Bye week came at a good time
