Off The Fritz Bandwagon

Its required now

I can tell that most of you have not been on a coaching staff! GEEZ!

To be honest, at start of year, I was hoping for a 6-6 year. Now, I am pissed that we were not 12-1.

The WVa and TCU games still stick in my craw.

I will survive. It was a good year.

@Notherncoog Where you at bro

Probably changes his username

The team had a great season. The Coogs made the sec look like the chumps they are.

I am expecting a top 10 recruiting class next year.
Anything else will be a disappointment given Willie’s reputation.

OK, I was wrong on an epic scale. Completely, absolutely, incredibly wrong. Am I banned?

Do you think the Bama fans suddenly turned on Saban when he lost a game to Auburn or UGA? No, because they aren’t stupid or unappreciative for what he has done in the past – at both Bama and elsewhere.

You cherry pick the one guy with SEVEN national championships (SIX at alabama). LOL

If he had one or two 8-4 seasons, you wanna bet they wouldn’t have still been calling for his head
?

I’m pretty sure there were “off the bandwagon” comments about Saban after he lost to Louisiana-Monroe at home during his first season at Alabama. And there were probably some of the same during his first season at LSU, when they took some bad losses.

I picked a guy with a proven record of success that most would know. Fritz also has a proven record of success, not to that level of course’ but I would think any knowledgeable football fan would understand he is a coach with a proven track record and just needed time to implement his program. Remember he wasn’t left with a championship caliber team.

A new coach coming in to a program in shambles should be given a reasonable amount of time to build his own program.

Wasn’t Saban undefeated in his second season at Alabama and already had a national championship at the highest level under his belt? Not really a great comparison to our situation.

Just revisited this old post. Did the OP return back on the Fritz train?

10-3, plus we got the #1 QB in the nation coming next year to be mentored by the Texas Bowl MVP, Connor Weigman.

Saban tells a funny story about stopping at a gas station after the ULM loss.

@legacygt777 just scroll up slightly and you’ll see OP
