I rewatched the game and I was really impressed by that officiating crew. I thought they called the best game I’ve seen by far in quite a while.
At the game I thought they were making up pass interference call against us.

And not many for us.
Their spot on that late-game call that was overturned was horrendous - they missed it by almost 2 full yards.

Overturning the fumble was terrible as were the multiple blatant open field holds by OSU #70 that resulted in huge plays for OSU. I thought they sucked.

I’m willing to blame that on someone other than the on-field officials, but it was still dumb.
I didn’t notice it during the game, but one of my friends watching on tv said the uncalled holds were egregious.
That spot they gave Amare was the worst thing I saw. I think the ref was just way out of position though.

The placed one of our balls 1 yard shorter thsn what it was downed on. They also didnt call it even. It wasnt as bad as some other games but it wasnt great or the best

Beyond the stuff discussed above, I remember the officials standing around confused multiple times.
I thought they had a really rough night.

It’s easier than it looks……
If you sit in the end zone or even outside the 20s, you’ll notice a ton of uncalled holdings.

The OSU WR’s looks like they were taught to fall down if you don’t catch it and you might get the call. It worked plenty. A lot of times they fell down with no contact and drew the foul.

For sure. I usually don’t get too bothered by it as long as they aren’t calling BS stuff downfield and/or missing blatant holds that spring huge plays.

This was on Hawkins’ bounce out TD run. 70 had the facemask held for the entire block. It was blatant on live tv. The previous play he tackled our guy from behind preventing a sack that turned into a 25 yard QB run.

It was also blatantly visible from my seats.
If that game was called straight-up, we would have won by 2TDs.

i watched it twice, every time i keep seeing #70 holding more. it would be easier to count the times he didnt hold.

Ahh, you must be a former offensive lineman. I was completely unimpressed with the amount of holding OK State was allowed.
