I canât understand why any of you would concede a loss before the season even starts. I think we can beat anyone on our schedule and unless proven otherwise, I am not conceding a loss to any team. Odds are, we will lose a couple of games, but if we do, I donât know who they would be.
That doesnât sound like CWF that I know of ⊠but maybe so and, if so, will ultimately get around to recruits and cause problems within the team. I hope itâs not so.
No itâs spring Football. The spring game will have split rosters. Meaning each roster has a depth chart. Even practices could be split with groups at different times to give guys fair reps. Sports is about competition and getting better each day. Not ultimately deciding a guy fate prematurely. It may be a task to get better while watching others get meaningful reps.
Iâm completely against seniority being factored in when it comes to the depth chart. Too many times, âexperienceâ, even when it is bad experience, is used as reasoning for putting one guy above another. That said, having the presumptive starter CW, and the other most experienced guy in the QB room ZC, taking the majority of the snaps is the most logical way to go about things right now.
Iâm sure the other guys will start getting reps once the system is more familiar and it can work itself out that way.
Hunter was a dominant 2 way player and the best player in the country last year. He single handedly won a couple of games. He isnt replaceable. Colorado takes a step down without him.

Heads up. Youâre talking to either a relative of McMickle or the man himself.

I think his best attribute for CU was that he won them a whole bunch of games that they should have lost. They won most of their schedule vs teams with mediocre and losing records. As soon as they faced a team worth their salt(BYU), they got embarrassed. We even did better against BYU, which should tell you something.
Colorado is really not that good. Hype train merchants.
CWF is giving everyone snaps, but it is reasonable to assume that the former and future starters would be given more. In a taped interview with Fritz that I saw on TOS CWF was talking positively about the abilities of Weighman, Uli, and Carlisle in running plays. If he is seeing their abilities in running the plays, one must assume that they are actually getting reps.
It was soooo difficult to Judge ZV since his line never gave him 3 seconds to stand in the pocket.
ZV extending plays was just him running for his life.
He was doing well early on the TD:INT ratio but then started pressing later in the season.
I donât expect him to start in front of Weigman, but he has some great skills.
What I like about the team is how many OLinemen we picked up out of the portal. THIs will be the differmaker
So you listened to an interview with CWF praising Ule, Carlisle and Weigman. But Zeon is taking just as many reps as Weigman. If you heard correctly the math isnât adding up on the field. Zeon is the best running back on the roster taking a bunch of QB reps. He has a chance to get drafted as a RB. I donât see any league in football that would start him at QB for a season. Not a suffisticated one atleast. Need to prepare the QB that can accurately throw and run behind your starter, just in case.
