This makes me wonder – have we done anything at all to reach out to the Roughnecks fans that were coming to our stadium for two years? Surely we either have or can get their mailing list, right?

If it is ever cool enough, a salute to the O&G workers would be fun. Some red UH coveralls would be sweet. I could spill nacho cheese all over them and not worry. I do have some blue coveralls that still smell like varsol.

I suspect that’ll be an upcoming Houston Blue game theme. Probably Rodeo next year, O&G after that, if I had to guess.

I see that racist crap on every thread about UH sports all over social media. I have been going to UH events since the 80’s and I have never felt in danger or seen anything crime related at any event.

Halfway through the week, I now fully understand why Tech calls Okie Lite Xerox State.

I have taken off shore oil field workers to both basketball and football games many times.
