Based on our Kevin Kolb era game against Okie State, they won’t outnumber us, but they’ll have a good sized crowd there.
As for the oil worker crap…dem’s FIGHTIN’ WORDS.

I was at the 2006 game under Kolb where he torched OSU. After the game, there was a fight about to start when security broke things up. Cowboys have some passionate fans. lol. Looking forward to Weigman and the gang to torch the Cowboys.

I was in Stillwater for the 2009 game. Nearly got run off the road by a road raging Poke on 75 coming back to Texas.

Made the toad trip to Stillwater with a group of 10 UH freinds when we played them there in 2008. Fun time, mostly friendly. They were running a campaign of awareness where you could get a t-shirt that said “Hire OSU graduates” because there was an issue where they were really struggling to find work.
So we are standing outside the stadium finishing our beverages and a knucklehead trys to confront us saying, “can’t believe you spent all this time and money to come up here to see your team get beat.” I said it’s ok… our jobs allow that sort of luxury and freedom. Dude got mad at that and said “just 'cause you’re from Houston you think you’re rich?” My (now) wife pointed at his shirt and said “at least when we graduate we have jobs waiting for us.” Dude lost his mind.
Hard to take them seriously.

Yeah, we blow Fertitta’s money flying his goons off the platforms so they can do all kinds of hooliganism on innocent Oklahoman families just coming to take in the sights. Our secret is out.

Yeah, they managed to get a not so subtle racist dig in at the end. Not surprising coming from the Oklahoma Territory. These folks need to spend a little time in the 3rd Ward; they might learn some history, but then they probably think the history that makes them uncomfortable is made up.

I served in the Army at Ft Sill and did business in Oklahoma up 5 years ago since I retired. I found the Oklahoma people to be very friendly and fun to be with
When we play OU at Reliant and won OU fans were first class

I agree there. I was at that game, and there were a good number of OU fans mixed in with ours.
They were class.
I’ve never found OSU people anywhere near this unfriendly. I’ve made a few trips there and recommend it for a family road game. And off-season Stillwater is as friendly a town as you’ll probably visit.
