Interesting but Hakeem hasn’t been very involved with our basketball program the past few years
I’m pretty sure that with him living in the UK and his Rocket Commitments, he just hasn’t had the time to devote to the Coogs. It’s nice to see him bring his sons to Houston.
The first class to graduate from this high school was in 2012. They’ve had two people get recruited (one to Maryland transfer to Texas), the other one directly to Texas. One now plays for Atlanta. This school has decent ties with UH! Let’s make it happen!
Kids have to be a legacy lock! Time to offer!
The Village School is probably the top prep school on the Far West side of town.
They have an extensive IB and Nord Anglia curriculum, designed to emulate the UK.
Many of their students are boarding students as well.
If nothing else, they will be academically well prepared.
