Opinions on 3rd down in the 3rd ward

I personally dislike this from the announcer, just my honest opinion. I’d like to hear other COOGFANS thoughts / opinions. To me it gives the visiting fans the chance at a mock saying of 1st down in the 3rd ward when they get a 1st down.

Oh, The Blaze whole other issue.

It needs to go. They should bring back to Cougar roar on 1st downs.

Maybe I was in a dream, but I swear they played the Cougar roar after every first down last night.

I’m indifferent. It’s a thing that’s uniquely ours, even if it does feel a little cringe. It doesn’t feel like a big deal either way.

Not a fan. I rather them pump some music or put a decibel meter on the screen to make it interactive for fans to try and raise the volume during these moments.

There are numerous sound bytes/song clips they can play

We already established our opening song to be Welcome to the Jungle…why not a call back on 3rd down…

Do You Know Where You ARE?!??!?!?

It’s short and gets the crowd pumped!

Its bad presentation, 1 who cares who ran the ball and how many yards they got. The only thing that matters is it is third down. Memphis plays videos of their famous former players, one player per video and they had a few different ones getting the crowd pumped up, and they start the video as soon as 3rd down is indicated not 10 seconds later.

They dont play, “Every day i’m hustling” subsequently followed with a cougar roar to get ready for the 2nd half? I don’t like RR, but hearing that always hot me hyped.

I totally dislike it too but at least we did make a few stops last night.
I just wish our crowd would get rowdy and drown it out!
