Orange Parking Garage, good idea?

100%. I qualify for the parking garage in both sports. I use it for basketball, but we have a tailgate group that has been together for 40+ years, so I downgrade to the blue lot for football.

Man… I gotta come by and have a beer with y’all one of these games… 40+ years is legit!

I’m not even quite at 20 years a Coog… grew up rooting for the Horns but gave all my burnt orange away when I stepped on campus in 2008.

A few fall off, others have joined over the years, and six have died. But the core group has been together since '78.

Our tailgating days are over with. Age and the heat had a lot to do with that. It’s easy walking to the garage from both TDECU and Fertitta Center.

We like the garage for basketball only. This past season they added attendants to manage the traffic flow out of the garage after games. This drastically cut the exit time. We used to downgrade to the Green lot for football, but since they started. selling single game passes it became too crowded. We are done with tailgates, now park in the Red lot and now have seats in the Penic club (ticket price and CP donation covers free food in the club)… No more sun for us sitting in north side second deck and all of the visiting fans… .

EXACTLY!! Someone earlier said they didn’t experience that in the green lot; we surely did, as you did. Give me the Blue over the Green or Orange for football (I don’t qualify for the Red.) I think the Orange for basketball will be a great perk.

P.S. This isn’t my friends from the San Antonio Riverwalk for the Final 4, is it? They’re in Penic too and also basketball season ticket holders.

I park in the garage for basketball. Mainly, because my wife goes to most of the games with me and she doesn’t like to walk.

I park in the Blue Lot for football, because I tailgate with the best group out there, Coogston.

Is that the group with the van that has a keg tap coming out of the side?
