Every draft insider that doesn’t work for ESPN have been calling this for 2 months but no one would listen.

I’m not sure which was more annoying. The “Shedeur Sanders is still available” storyline or Mel Kiper going on and on how great Sanders is.
How ESPN milks players who fall in the draft is cringeworthy.

I wonder if we made an attempt to move up to get OL or Golden. Is the team happy with the moves we made in the off-season regarding the OL?
I think whoever they were planning on moving up to 15-16 was gone….( likely Booker)
At that point they were not in love with anyone……apparently the trade down was not even discussed until very last minute….
I think it was good value to move down….2- seconds and three 3rds….plus a 3rd next year.
Lots of really good players left.

I know Shedeur Sanders is a polarizing player but I didn’t think he would fall out of the first round. He now becomes a bargain in the second round. He may make more in endorsements than his first rookie contract. He is being told to use this snub as motivation. What else was he going to be told?
Too bad Chicago has Caleb Williams. Sanders mentoring under Case Keenum would clean up a lot of Sanders QB issues.

Let’s not act like he is the first guy to be sitting “in the green room” so to speak after the first round.
I remember watching Geno Smith sitting all through the first day….he was supposed to go as high as top 5 and lasted until pick 39.

Not sure if the Browns take Sanders….would that be a good situation? Do you want him hanging out with Watson his first couple of years?
I think Sanders biggest problem is his dad. He will probably be a good NFL QB, but he comes with an attitude and his father.
What was with the decoration in that room with the dollar signs? I wouldn’t draft that crap in the 7th round. That tells me he is more about himself and money than he is about the team and being a leader.

Poor Cam Ward. A zero star recruit ends up going number 1 in the NFL draft and is overshadowed by another QB because their dad wears a cowboy hat in the snow.
