Also, wasn’t Johnny Manziel heavily scrutinized because of his behavior and not willing to put in the work? I think he fell to 22.
Another one is Manti Te’o’s fake dead girlfriend Catfish story cost him to slide 30 slots.

Luther Burden III as the Texans first pick in the second round?
That works for me….or Henderson from Ohio St.
The your first OL guy with the 2nd pick in the second round.
That was the weirdest catfish story ever. I think Te’o was undercover when he was talking to a dude on the phone every day. Strange! Nobody believed his lies. He couldn’t even keep the story together. It made no sense.
Whether due to medical, character, size concerns, or other, there are some highly talented prospects still available for Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay.
Should the QB-needy Browns bypass Shedeur Sanders with the first pick of round two, it could end up being another long evening for Sanders and his DJ. Meanwhile, a degenerate knee concern has resulted in Michigan cornerback Will Johnson also falling. For edge rusher, Mike Green of Marshall, off-field issues have seemed to cast a shadow over his once-promising draft stock.

Texans take Iowa State WR Jayden Higgins at the top of the second round.
I like the player, but I assumed we focus on OL in the early rounds. But Texans have another second rounder, so maybe OL addressed there.
Maybe @RezClone can gives a run down on this now former Cyclone.
FWIW
CBS
Higgins an A-.

Every single QB that gets picked over Shadeur Sanders just gets more and more hilarious
Higgins is a big receiver, 6’4", 214 lbs.
According to NFL.com, for 2024:
“Third-team Associated Press All-American. Second-team All-Big 12. Ranked 10th in the FBS with 87 receptions (1,183 yards, 13.6 per). Led team with 9 receiving TDs. Played in 13 games with 11 starts. Did not play in the team’s PopTarts Bowl win over Miami.”
Two large bookends at WR between Higgins and Collins.
I like it.
Agree.
I’m on CBS tracker only tonight.
ESPN rubbing it in.
QB Tyler Shough was the 40th pick ?
Louisville was a good move.
Beat UH in 2021 opener w TTech then hurt a bunch.
Welp, now I’m a Texans fan too.
Higgins AND X!?!?!?!
Houston Cyclones is peak cosmic justice
We moved up to 48 to pick an OT. I wonder what we gave up.
One of your linebackers is a former student and athlete of mine at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn HS here in Iowa. Kooper Ebel.
I like experience. Ersery was a 3 year starter at LT for Minnesota.
Yup. Very high ceiling and bright future for that one. I wouldn’t be suprised if he starts alongside Brezina and Bacon.
It’s probably between him and Harlan native Will Mclaughlin.
Keep in mind being I have a special place in my heart for 3A football players like both of them.
2007 state champ myself. Certainly not on their level personally tho lol, but several of my teammates were.
Sanders, undrafted after 2 rounds.
All sizzle, no steak.
