That was the weirdest catfish story ever. I think Te’o was undercover when he was talking to a dude on the phone every day. Strange! Nobody believed his lies. He couldn’t even keep the story together. It made no sense.

Texans take Iowa State WR Jayden Higgins at the top of the second round.
I like the player, but I assumed we focus on OL in the early rounds. But Texans have another second rounder, so maybe OL addressed there.

Higgins is a big receiver, 6’4", 214 lbs.
According to NFL.com, for 2024:
“Third-team Associated Press All-American. Second-team All-Big 12. Ranked 10th in the FBS with 87 receptions (1,183 yards, 13.6 per). Led team with 9 receiving TDs. Played in 13 games with 11 starts. Did not play in the team’s PopTarts Bowl win over Miami.”

Yup. Very high ceiling and bright future for that one. I wouldn’t be suprised if he starts alongside Brezina and Bacon.
It’s probably between him and Harlan native Will Mclaughlin.
Keep in mind being I have a special place in my heart for 3A football players like both of them.
