Must be nice. Wish the Big 12 Tournament would leave Kansas City.

Why?
I have never been, but everything I have read says that Kansas City does a great job holding the B12 basketball tournament. The locals really get behind it. No need to move it if it is working. I’m not sure any city in Texas could do a better job.

The Big 12 championship for football is already in DFW.
We don’t need the basketball tournament in Texas.
Leave it for the old Big 12 north schools in Kansas City, MO.

Only city I could see it moving to would be OKC. But as long as KC keeps supporting it the way they do, it would be pretty dumb to move it.

And KC should be happy hosting with all the fans from KU, KSU and Iowa State assuring the place will be packed most years.
Dallas is probably the only viable place in Texas but not as local and probably wouldn’t sell out.
We went to KC for the Sweet 16 and I must admit the city does a great job of promoting
I have attended enough CKS postseason losses in the state already.

I went to the Big 12 tournament this year. I cannot see moving it anywhere else. ISU, Kansas, & K-State really support the tournament very well and being across the street from the Light District makes it a fun event.

Could get a more central location, Texas A$M is moving into Fort Worth, first part of campus to open this year, more to come.
