I noticed when we played ASU, they were arguing with each other on the sideline and one if the guards walked off the court mid-play when he didnt get the ball.
ASU has to clean house at the end of the season. They should have never gave those guys $700k in NIL money without vetting first.
He was the same guy doing the celebration after hitting the three (while they were down 16) and also didn’t get back on defense because they missed him being open for a three. So he just stood there mad while Coogs scored on a break.
I recall the announcer (ex-Baylor player) being REALLY fired up over Freeman not getting back on defense. He didn’t let it go for a few possessions.
Obviously he saw or sensed that he was not a team player, beyond just that one play.

B.J. Freeman was involved in gambling.
The NCAA found that former Arizona State guard Freeman gave former Fresno State player Mykell Robinson information before at least four games so that Robinson could bet on his statistics, according to its report. Freeman also gave information to his then-girlfriend before two games so she could wager on his stats.
Robinson and Freeman were teammates at Dodge City Community College in Kansas in 2021-22.
Makes sense why ASU gave him the boot
