OT: Arkansas Signs Major NIL Deal with Tyson Foods

Arkansas and former UH AD Hunter Yurachek getting it done. Arkansas signs 5 year deal with Tyson Foods for NIL for all 19 varsity men and women sports. The most noticeable branding will be a patch on the jersey, along with other branding. No amount was given in the articles.

I would guess UH is exploring the same patch opportunities, given the corporations located in Houston. As long as UH doesn’t go full NASCAR, and the players look like walking billboards, there is money to be made.

Does UH look at this and think $$$, or that it looks tacky?

I have a hard time thinking it would ever be Sysco. They are as cheap as it comes when it comes to spending money.

Go from a Jordan school to a Whoreden school…
