I haven’t seen Angleton play this year but in the very old days I coached against them….one thing Angleton always had was athletes….im assuming that has not changed.

Who knows, may be SV is the team that will have to play perfectly.

We’ve got some athletes like always. Like usual we’re good defensively, on offense we can become stagnant with the ball if the run game isn’t working ( our bread and butter)

You’d be correct. His grandson graduated a few years ago.

Randy was at a recent fundraiser for Young Life, and he seems to have no desire to retire. He tried to a few years ago and asked for his job back. Got Denton Ryan tonight! HP led by sophomore QB Buck Randall (only 5’11" 170 lbs).

I completely forgot that the Clemson vs Texas matchup is a rematch between Cade Klubnik (Austin Westlake) vs Quinn Ewers (Dallas Southlake Carroll) in the State Championship Game for the 2020 season, It was dubbed the “Dodge Bowl”, as legendary high school Head Coach Todd Dodge for Austin Westlake, went against his son, Riley Dodge, Head Coach for Dallas Southlake Carroll.

If Angleton makes it to Arlington next weekend I’ll for sure be there but can’t decide if I want to drive down from Oklahoma City for this one or just watch it on tv

For those interested, the Austin Westlake vs Galena Park North Shore game will be televised on Fan Duel Sports Network at 2:00 PM, 12/14/24. I have Comcast Cable and it is Channel 637. Summer Creek vs Vandegrift will be televised in the NFHS Network at 7:00 PM, 12/14/24.
