I used to use my 3000W Honda inverter because you could barely hear it while running… but it was stolen a couple years ago out of my trailer in Houston… along with my mountain bike and my wife’s ebike.

Also, I could lift it and carry it around myself.

If oyu are using the measuring stick of who didnt want to be inthe conference, you’re gonna have to hate on BYU and others as well. I mean BYU had zero interest until harsh reality finally forced their hand. THEY didnt want to be part of Big XII for over a decade!

But do note the behavior of Tech base right now - they’re a far more logical target for enmity than Utah is. Utah’s been knocked off their high horse by the endless curse of critical injuries to key players ever since taht Ohio State Rosebowl game. Meanwhile, after the major sugar daddy rolled up and dropped a HUGE wad of cash in Lubbock they are now talking about being far too good for the conference.

The only thing good in Lubbock is the truck stop

I respect BYU. Let the best team win. And I despise Utah, even though I wanted them in the conference.

Even with 0 speed, we will take him at CB next week.

Yup, this. beat me to it. This is probably the best option to suit your needs for what you are describing in a pinch.

But, a generator will absolutely work no doubt too. I’d have both. You can also try to find a place to park along the edge of a lot so you can set your generator back to minimize the disturbance it may cause if you decide/need to use it.

Can’t have too many drop cords for this reason. You can plug other stuff like an air fryer, multiple TVs, radio etc. if you run a generator. Very easy way to make your own food w/ easy cleanup with an air fryer. Go crazy.

Incorrect. The school remained independent for over a decade, rather than adhere to the demands of the conference.

Now if by ā€œweā€ you mean the fan base, well, that aint correct either. Undoubtedly some portion wanted to join, but it was by no means ā€œOur entire existenceā€. That’s a rather asinine and grossly inaccurate statement…

The school and Atheletic department reaction to Utah being invited to the PAC 12 was telling. It clearly indicates BYU wanted to be part of THAT conference, not the Big XII

Well, gotta say, that response is right up there with ā€œNUNh-UH!!!ā€ /snerk

I’m 6 weeks from being 64. I followed BYU from about 1972 on to mid 80s when I shipped out in the Navy. Returned to Utah in 92, but followed the wild QB factory exploits while gone.
Honest and non-acrimonious question though. I’m curious as to how long you’ve been following the program.

Our verbal sparring aside, let’s hope the players behave themselves, and that BYU fanbase shows its better side. It has been known to dive (along with Utah fanbase) into a very ugly place upon the occasion of this game. Lots of eyeballs on Provo, between BNK and this game. Make the most of it!

Have a moderately nice day [sorry, just cant get all the way to ā€œgreatā€] LOL

What demands by the Pac12 was BYU in a position to adhere to?

Abandon their principles and become navel-gazing secular snobs like they rest of that conference?

Also, not quite sure it’s a flex to say Utah enjoyed bending the knee to the demands of a conference that dysfunctionally self-deleted itself by literally just being themselves.

Both of you guys nervous? I’m locked in for this one.

Go BYU, btw! @BYUcougarfan

I am dying.

The only reasonable explanation i can think of is the playcaller forgot there was no timeouts.

Gotta have two plays called there, 2nd being a pass at the very least.

It was good to get points, he might have thrown a pick who knows. But its too close.
