Tom Herman
After what happened at FAU, Herman will probably have to take an OC job. I don’t think he gets a HC job unless he goes down to a lower division (and there’s no way he does that).
Auburn likely to open, and while FSU and Wisconsin have made indications to the contrary, I’m inclined to believe there’s a strong probability they open up, too.
For those that think Tom Herman may be a candidate for these P4 jobs, dream on. I think Tom Herman should focus on rehabilitating his career. I do not view his time at UT as successful, despite winning more games than he lost. His time at FAU was even worse.
Herman needs to either drop down to the G level as a head coach or try as a offensive coordinator at a P4. I think his quickest way to being a head coach at a P4 is taking on an OC role at a P4. With the transient nature of head coaching, he may get a head coaching shot sooner than we think.
I have no sympathy for schools stuck with a huge buyout. I know why they put it in the contract; to discourage the coach from moving. The greater likelihood is that the coach will fail to live up to expectations and the school will fire the coach. Texas A&M, LSU, Florida, and yes, I would put UH in that category for the Holgorsen extension, are making decisions based on everything working as planned, when in fact, it rarely happens that way.
Saw something liking Sark to the Dolphins. Maybe folks thinking he can get something out of Tua

Herman needs to retire, he got fired by FAU. On a side note Levine needs to come out of retirement for a GM position, his teams may have underperformed on the field under him, but he assembled that incredible 2015 team.
