Crazy work. Starters are announcing that they’re hitting the portal.

From a players perspective, why risk getting an injury in a meaningless game?

Is KS still expecting their share of conference bowl revenue?

Idk I’d want a free trip and to play one more but they didn’t ask me so

Yeah, if they turn down a bowl, they should lose some portion of their share unless the B12 has another eligible team to fill that spot.

That’s lame. No wonder that team made the head coach cry.

Damn.

Baylor & Aranda might get to play another game this szn.

How did Kstate go from model of consistency to hot mess so fast?

The moment they overpaid Avery Johnson and pissed off several defensive starters

I asked what would happen to KSU and got this.

The team’s decision usually results in fines and penalties from the conference, as refusing a bowl disrupts conference tie-ins and financial payouts. The bowl game then selects the next eligible team, often from the same conference or an at-large pool.

I remember in 2022 that Rice played in a bowl and didn’t win 6 games in the regular season, so would that happen (i.e. Baylor) or would it be an at-large from another conference?

I would cut the KState players some slack. They are still processing the Klieman retirement. They may not be psychologically ready to play ball. My guess is a fair number need to get away from football for awhile and decompress.

Coach obviously burnt out, he left a lot of money on the table.

Not very smart…They have got a really good coach heading their way, and he’s a K State guy, too.

They would be replaced by the 5-7 team with the highest APR score. Probably Florida State.

We’re not far from schools suing employee-athletes.

They will be I one of the losers in the NIL era

Big market schools will reign supreme with bucket #2 opportunities. The Oklahoma State and Kansas States and Baylors of the Big 12 are screwed
