ESPN won’t run the BottomLine for college football this year. Scores from around the country will still be provided via in-studio updates.

Something convenient and loved by most…of course it would get cancelled.
Should drive plenty of traffic to their app for score checking.

Just turned on a game and sure enough, no chyron with news and other game scores.
Cleaner look my rear. Like posted above they wannna drive that app traffic or have people tune in. Pfff…

Well - I’ll hate that change - on the weekends where we win and will be just fine with it - on the weekends that we lose.

I bet on ALOT of football….even today I found myself having to go to my phone to look for scores….super annoying. 
When looking up scores, I use theScore app more than ESPN.

No more free advertising for the Top 25.
Absolutely. In all those crappy seasons we lived through in the 90s and 2000s, we wouldn’t get much coverage, but at least we knew we’d see our school every once in a while on the ticker.
all espn did was have more people tracking on their phone for scores; they will gain no viewers from this.
I wont miss it. I don’t always get to watch everything live so I don’t care for the spoilers.

But did they replace it with the announcers names at the bottom, and then when they speak, it highlights their name? I swear I saw that during a game Saturday.
