This poll shows popular website ratings of Google, Yelp, and Trip Advisor of NFL Stadiums, and then averages them for the list. NRG is in the middle.
NRG hosts college games. Most of us can park on the surface lots close to the stadium, set up tailgating and there is a roof over the stadium. That is good enough for me.
Not agreeing or disagreeing since I don’t really go to NFL games unless some just has an extra ticket.
(To add: I did enjoy the last Texans game I attended, but that is probably because they won and a good looking lady two seats over was sharing her rum and cokes with me.)
What should be different so the game watching does not suck?
That’s great luck on those seats. Last game I went to a guy tried to recruit me to help him fight a married couple who were fans of the Colts. He was dead serious.
Every time I go, I swear I’ll never do it again. Has nothing to do with the stadium though.
The bad part was when we were walking out, my (married) friend asked why I didn’t try to get her number. Had to tell him it was his fault because he would not switch seats with me to be able to talk with her. They were talking kid stuff.
This is never going to gain any traction here, but I really think we should play as many of our August/September home games as possible in NRG. Summer weather in this state is unbearable. The sun doesn’t even set until like 8:30, so late kickoffs barely help.
