Took the words out of my mouth. Like JL pointed out, we don’t exactly lack quality options in this city for a sponsorship:
Let “them” set the market & (in theory) we should be able to capitalize from some form of a bidding war involving several of the 27 fortune 500 companies in Houston (2nd most in the US). This is where Eddie absolutely must earn his paycheck, imo. We cannot afford to get fleeced here.

I like your idea, but the Golden Nugget is not a public company. Still, public or private money is still green.

Part of the reason I tell them is so that they are not disappointed in their work when something does not work out 100% right due to the idiots.
at the end of the day what do the companies get by paying for a patch that they don’t receive now?
