I always enjoyed watching Greg Gumbel. Sad that one of the most recognizable sportscasters of our generation has passed.

Man that sucks!! I didn’t know he was sick.
Also did not know he was a Loras College grad. Beautiful college in Dubuque, IA.
One of my favorites. I was surprised a few years ago when I learned he was in his 70s.
He was knowledgeable as well as entertaining on TV and in the studio.
Anyone know what type of cancer he had?
That sucks, he had a great voice and presence. Rest in peace.
As a stage 4 esophageal cancer survivor, I’m always curious why some people choose to conceal the type of cancer they have. Kate Middleton never revealed her type of cancer. I think it might be more inspirational if they were more open. Just my opinion.
