I think the CFP absolutely manipulated the placement of teams in the playoff. And now with the re-seeding, and “advanced metrics” they’ll have all the cover they need to try to ensure an SEC vs Big 10 final ever year. And then they’ll use their fixed results to promote their separation narrative.

It would be too much to ask having our teams have to have 2 more wins than them for each playoff spot.

It would be a problem for the big12

I think if they are 10 and 2 and we’re 11 and 1 , it should be a wash and be considered equal

We should only accept a 1 game difference otherwise we’re in trouble.

Objectivity based on results is more fair and a better indicator of merit than predetermined subjectivity, in my humble opinion.

Good point. Maybe Memphis should try to take advantage and up their fedex money to see if they can sneak in for the 18th spot.
