They really want to change their offensive line this off season
I’m not sure how I feel about this. He was the best OL on a bad OL. He made a lot of mental errors this year, but that doesn’t mean he will make the same mistakes as last year. Depending on the other moves, I think we just got weaker on the line.
It frees up a ton of money so they can make other moves….plus they got some decent picks while he still had some value.
He was gonna want a big new contract extension soon….
Now, have to really rely on the scouts to not draft another Kenyon Green or Juice Scruggs……gotta get a LT in the draft.

All the morons on Twitter ripping the GM have no idea what they are talking about……until free agency/trades and draft are over no one can say one way or the other if the Texans are gonna be worse.
The guys in the building no way more than us……maybe they felt like Tunsil is on the backside….maybe they saw bad practice habits that led to all the dumb penalties….etc.
We now have more draft capital to make a move via trade for current player or in the draft……

You could always count on Tunsil for a drive killing penalty when the Texans were moving down the field. He didn’t run block worth a damn.
Remember that Coog we had Sir (something or another) that would get called for penalties on every drive it seemed. My wife called him Sir Holdsalot.
There are only a handful of decent oline FA. The draft has a good number of OTs. IOL isn’t as strong
