OU led the country in points per game last year. 48.4 points per game. Most of those games were against Power 6 opponents.
We held them to 49.
Last year we gave up 39.1 points per game to teams that were far inferior to OU.
I am far from panicking about our defense.

I’m in a good spot. Not everyone can stop Jalen Hurts. First year coach, holes in personnel, we did ok.
It’s too soon to tell. Last year was last year. We didn’t have CDH and Jalen Hurts was with a different team. Just look at the score board this year to see how we compare to top competition who eased up after the 3rd quarter.
