Our Fanbase is Delusional

Not all are. A good portion are. Stop drinking the kool-aide CDH is not a winner and never will be. Look at his press conference after losing. Scratching himself hanging his head as he speaks, painful to watch this man do a press conference. Body language says I have no confidence I don’t want to be here answering these questions. Wake me up when I am in Cabo San Lucas, drinking my vodka and red bulls

I want him to be successful.

I don’t like when he blames the players.

I don’t like when he says “none of this surprised me.”

He also said he’s not going to change anything. I guess he thinks this is working

This is Tilllman’s guy, no? Pezman was on the sidelines for most of the game. He knows what’s what. He has not given us any reason not to trust him.

Dana is a great OC, HC not so much in my opinion

Perfect observations.

I would throw in that he said, “I’ve done this before. I know how to do it.” This wouldn’t be an issue but he wasn’t asked that. It was like he knew he was going to be challenged in the presser for what happened and got ahead of himself. Not a sign of confidence IMO.

Yeah, he even threw Sam Brown under the bus with the whole scuffle with Manjack. I didn’t like that.

I read that Dana said Manjack was wrong for how he handled it on the sidelines. Brown also cannot get lured into a deadball PF call when his team has first and goal. And, when others try to pull you away from the play, maybe don’t shove them away. Plenty of blame to go around and I heard it reported that way.

The reporter asked if any game prep was going to change. Emphatic no.

Basically just going to keep doing this until it works.

Yeah but in front of the media, he should just say “Two players in the heat of the moment of competition went at it. We’re dealing with it internally” or something like that. Not “Sam was the one that was in the wrong and he deserved his teammate shoving him to the ground…etc.” I hate that.

I just read an ESPN article about it and it did not include that.

I purposely exaggerated it. I figured you would catch on to that.

“Manjack took it upon himself to go over there and confront Sam, which is not the right thing to do,” Holgorsen said. “He was dead wrong and shouldn’t have done it and knows it and felt bad about it.”

ESPN was selective in their quotes it seems. Dana thinks he is Sampson and can be blunt and honest in his answers.

If there’s anything I can say about being a Houston Cougar for 58 years is that I’m a realist with delusional traits. :sunglasses:

Insanity lol

I want Dana to be successful because he’s here because we handed the keys to the university to his buddy.

He’s not going anywhere until Tillman says gtfo.

That said, I’m not encouraged.

Exactly BigCaton. Dana is delusional. Our (already small and fragile) fan base is blowing up!! And this guy is so nonchalant and dismissive. To be performing at such a very low level, he is WAY too comfortable. Isn’t he big friends with Tillman? Huh?

Our fan base is fragile. Always afraid we will be left out or abandoned. Yet we are snobs, always looking down on the competition thinking we should get to select our game times.
