Our Fanbase is Delusional

Yes against Navy

When I was out after the game the one thing people commented on was this incident (which also made national news). So you criticize the player who was demanding performance and implicitly condone under performance. IMO not a good look

I felt sorry for brown bc he did do wrong but teammates engaged him making it him against the world when he knew the Kansas player was just as wrong. Kansas did right and didn’t attack their own.

This is on Dana bc I could have ran out there as coach then calmed it down but he didn’t. Brown couldn’t explain in time what the Kansas player did then way later the refs did off setting penalties proving brown wasn’t totally 100% at fault.

Lol Brown did something really stupid at the end of a play on our sideline. Quit trying to blame anyone else. He intentionally bumped the KU player and that player conveniently flopped.
Regardless that was totally on our guy. Not sure what game you watched

I don’t mind a little back and forth. About Auburn
I am homer always pulling for my Coogs, that’s why I am against CDH remaining our coach, I am off the fence with him, gave him the benefit of the doubt. The guy is bringing down something I love and care about. All CDH it seems to care about imo, imo is where he can get a next drink at a club or home. I’m not against a man drinking, but when it affects his job performance, which I believe it is. Then your screwing with something I not only care about but all of us this board care about up here.

You have no idea whether this is even close to true or not.

It’s just defamatory and not helpful to anything in any way.

But I think you know that

That would have been another dead ball penalty had Dana run onto the field.

Manjack shoved Brown. Not a big deal in my mind.

In hindsight, maybe not the best way to handle things.

But I’d bet most of the UH players on that sideline felt the same way Manjack felt. You’re working hard and somebody does something completely avoidable and destructive to what you’re trying to accomplish.

I hope and I believe that the message is sent by these players who don’t appreciate the self-absorbed nature of that kind of reaction to those that engage in it that it’s not acceptable, IMHO.

That’s one of the only things I agree with coach on.

No clue why we are still talking about this. Manjack went up to Brown and appeared to apologize after the drive. Dana talked to both of them together shortly after. There was no sign of any big issue.

Your right I don’t but I know that it’s known he has been seen by folks in bars and other hangouts he likes to frequent before game day it’s alleged, I know this for a fact he bragged about drinking vodka with Red Bull online out of his own mouth, for all those young impressionable men to be aware of he does. To each his own, I’m no prude, live and let live. But when your habits start affecting your job performance, I do have a issue with it. Drinking and hanging out makes your day and leads to 12-0 seasons I’ll line up and buy him red bull and vodka all day long and belly up to the bar with him, as the toast of the town.

Bowser and Adams git into that fight. Adams punched Bowser and broke his orbital bone.

We have yet to win 10 games in back to back years guys
 keep that in mind

“You guys wanna fight? Or you gonna just sit around and :sparkling_heart: each other?!”

I think delusional fan base is correct.

It should be easier to do that in 13-14 games seasons than 10-11.
The very good teams of the 60s played 10 or 11 games.
The 1989 and 1990 teams played 11 games.
Even the greatest teams in school history from the 70s only played 12 games.

Last year’s team won 12 games so they must have been better than all of those teams because they had more wins.

Who are we gonna get that brings instant credibility? And please don’t say Patterson because that’s the same guy whom aside from an 11-3 year in 2017 was 29-31 over the previous 6 of 7 seasons. I heard that name thrown around and its pretty cringe, especially seeing the resources that TCU had at their disposal. There’s a lot of fire Dana but who are we gonna get that’s an instant upgrade. Cuz Campbell. Kiffin. Etc aren’t coming to Houston. So who’s the homerun that we can hit that in 2 or 3 years won’t be at A&M when they can squirm out of the jimbo contract?
