P4 IRS Tax Filings on Revenue

Revenue for FY 2025, as reported by USA Today.

B10 - $1.47B
SEC - $1.11B
ACC - $826.5M
B12 - $610.9M

Minimum distribution per school.

B10 - $76 million, not including new members Oregon and Washington, which received $46-48 million.
SEC - $70.3 million, not including new members Oklahoma and Texas, which received $2.6 million and $12.1 million.
ACC - $42.8 million, not including Notre Dame or new members Cal, Stanford and SMU, which received $17-23 million.
B12 - $37.9 million, not including new members BYU, Houston, UCF and Cincinnati, which received $19-23 million.
PAC12 - $29 million to both Oregon State and Washington State.

Of the P4s, B12 is fourth, and a distant fourth, in total revenue. Not sure how B12 can close the gap significantly, under the current landscape.

What jumps out to me, besides the gap between the Big XII/ACC the Big 10/SEC, is Texas getting $10MM more than OU. They just can’t help big brothering SOMEBODY.

Total revenue isn’t that meaningful when we’re the smallest conference.

There’s more to it than total revenue.

Who were the people saying tge ACC was going to break apart and come to the B12 btw?

The Big 12 was pretty well doomed when whorn and OU left…but oh well, we are still much better off than we were in the American…

I don’t see a problem with it. As long as the ratios hold or move in our favor over the next few years

I am very happy with the B12. If we play well enough we can get into the CFP. But really, I am happy with having teams to play that are better than before.

Remember, in 2030 Big 12 gets a new TV deal and we will do a lot of catching up when that happens. I think we’ll pass the ACC.

Doesn’t everyone renegotiate then too?

Not only that, but figure out their revenue without FSU and Clemson, which is highly likely after 2030.

Certain to drop without those two mega football brands.

Also, ACC revenue sharing is unequal, thanks to the lawsuit that those two filed, and certain schools playing for way less (SMU, Stanford, etc).

Smu joining the ACC for long term was a brilliant but desperate move.

One of my questions is why is SMU receiving any ACC media money? They forfeited their ACC media money the first 9 years in order to join the conference.

The ACC allows SMU to receive ACC network money and other Tier 3 rights, as well as playoff money.

Still should be much lower than original ACC schools’ shares…

I sincerely could care less.
What is in our control is the upcoming 2026 season. Everything else means squat.

No…ACC deal goes to 2035 or 36. Sorry, this answer is for Funk…

Under the terms of their settlement, they’ll be able to buy their way out in 2030 for the price of a Jimbo Fisher buyout.

Don’t be shocked if both are in a P2 at that point.

As I have stated many times I couldn’t be happier than where we are at right nowI
If we can round up some dang fans out of the bushes we could possibly have a football team that makes money…would love to see this happen before I enter the Pearly Gates…
