Traveled from freeway on Scott. Waiting to turn left on Holman to enter the garage (Orange). Even there were officers manually directing traffic at that intersection, I bet we waited 20 or more minutes waiting to turn left. Discovered the problem was possibly due to only ONE entrance to the garage being open! Very frustrating!

Yeah, the traffic a little before 5 was non-existent. This is probably a “just-in-time” arrival issue.

Traffic mgmt is a total crap shoot. Emphasis on crap.
It’s different every game.
Really makes it hard on the fans when there’s no consistency.
Doesn’t seem that difficult a task - prioritize cars getting into the lots pregame and prioritize cars leaving postgame.

It did suck, but the first 2 orange garage entrances are for the first and second floor, I am assuming they were full so they closed those entrances, the staff was there to work them.

Unless, you have some type of engagement before the games that force you to arrive close to game time (that being 1 hour before kickoff), my strong advice is to arrive at least 1-1/2 hours ahead of time. It’s so much easier and more available parking spots.

We used to drive from near Dallas on gameday and were in the stands to see the pregame band show, even at 11am.

Depends on what time you get there. As the garage fills up, they close some of the entrances. As frustrating as that may seem, I think it would be worse if all three entrances were still open at that point because everyone would still have to go to the same place to get to the upper levels.
