Also in 2010 both Keemun and backup Cotton Turner went out for season in same UCLA game in 1H. Piland’s redshirt was pulled way before he was ready but at least he had Kliff to coach him. In 2012 we had the discount assistant coaching crew.

I remember noticing in that Temple game he got sacked, his head snap back and hit the ground pretty hard. After that, every throw was off. Like really weird. And then he was pulled. At the time concussions were just becoming a big concern in college football and I think they just didn’t let any press out about it or at least not much. I don’t think that was his first concussion.
