So is Oregon State a G5 now? I assume the CFP considers them as such.
Yep. They got demoted alongside Washington State
Yes, Oregon State is a G6ā¦remember, PAC is now the 6th G Conference
Oregon State lost a lot of real good players who moved on because PAC no longer a major FB conference.
Yes, but we (Houston) still have 9 p5 games, so Iām not worried about it.
We only got left for dead for 28 years, itās really not that bad
P5 doesnāt exist anymoreā¦
We do not have any P4 games, in our non conference schedule
There was a mass exodus of Oregon State players after they were demoted to G#
Look at their record, last year.
We should easily sweep our OoC games

I have no problem with the game being on a Friday vs it being a Saturday game on espn plusā¦
if we are going to be on ESPN+ on a Saturday, we definitely should request all of the Prime time Thursday or Friday night cable TV spots we can get.
We need to grow our brand, Nationally
I was just reading that the Pac(1)2 has signed a deal to televise the WSU and OSU games on ESPN, CBS, and CW networks. The game against OSU will be on ESPN. So while itās a Friday night game, at least itās on ESPN and not ESPN+
And espn > cw
Cope. I would much rather the game be on a Saturday. Coogs are getting absolutely boned with the weeknight games and it wonāt change until we command the prime spots (Saturday evening/night) by winning and filling the stadium.
Absolutely, butā¦
espn> cw > espn+
Iād rather be ON TV on Friday night than on an app, on Saturday
Until that changesā¦bring on the Friday night games!
Short sighted. Thursday/Friday night isnāt going to help attendance. So a national audience will see an empty stadium on tv. Cool, how is that different than a MAC school.
Filling the stadium is the first step. That means Saturday night games.
Iāve been to plenty half empty Saturday night games also but have also been to many packed weeknight games (i.e. Louisville) so keep making assumptions that arenāt backed up with actual attendance.
We fill the stadium when people care to watch usā¦not even having us on TV is a horrible thing to root for.
ESPN+ not only discourages our casual fansā¦it takes out the national casual college football fan since it is buried on an app on a very busy football day/night
The entire game day experience suffers because of weeknight games. Tailgating? We were also playing #3 Louisville during the Herman years. That is not remotely close to the norm.
Agreed.
lolā¦Have you been to most of our saturday games post Herman?
Do I need to post our attendance?
Hint: Itās not the dayā¦itās the squad
