No. Pez was a Senior Associate AD. Cal has 6 of them below the AD & an Executive Senior Associate AD.
Pez was Capital Projects and a football specialist for Cal AD.

Cancel the contract and pay student orgs. They can raise money for causes and to cover costs. They want UH to succeed. imo

Pez is good. We had tons of Ads here and no one did better. The food issue is bc of inflation and tough to get workers. Really I can live with the food issues and lines bc just show up earlier. Pez really just needs to figure out selling out the stadium. They added free water which is really good.
Pez just needs to sell this thing out and that’s the goal. Big 12 will really help though,
I was on to him when he scheduled 2 last minute cupcake replacements to pad the success of last season for CDH.

First, I’m happy that PC is challenging someone on things the fans see that are obvious. But Pez has known about the home opener for months. In operations its always easy to blame things on people that didn’t show up. The home opener should be opening night on Broadway, one contingency after another. You can’t just say we use a third party and their people didn’t show up. You own that third party whether you like it or not. My question to those that went to UTSA and/or Lubbock would be, were their concessions running at 60% capacity? Because inflation is nation-wide.
Just seems like people got caught flat-footed. And, just for observations, the wi-fi has literally been an issue for years.

Easy for you to say, but harder to do. Haven’t you noticed empty sections in restaurants because 3 servers didn’t show up? I have. You schedule the people. They don’t show up. You have a very small window, if any to call unscheduled people to try to come to work.

I can accept that a third party is in charge but COME ON. This is OUR opening game. A game that has been scheduled for how long? You can’t get people to show up?
No matter any which way you look at it. This is INEXCUSABLE. We all make mistakes, me included. With all of the SPECIALTY resources that we have that most schools do not this is on us. Chris has to own it. Did he have a meeting with Tilman’s Head of Operations and the concession operator regional Manager? It is either a yes or no. We will know soon enough if this will be corrected.

This is so hilarious and so true man.
I mean when you have one of the best HRM schools in the country on your campus, and stuff like this happens, it is unbelievable.
Again, all I know is my own experiences. When I as a Life Member that has given a lot of money to the school am calling the day before a bowl game to get my tickets, and the person puts me on hold just so that they can leave by 5, it tells you all you need to know about how much these people care about maintaining relationships with alumni.
I understand these ticket office employees are probably students on work study, but you need to explain to them the importance of what they do and that if they are not going to take it seriously then send them on. Young people need to take accountability early. Of course, if there superiors are not accountable, then why would they be?
