Yeah… I guess it shows how far we’ve come that I felt a little disappointed with this tourney when I saw the 8 team, 16 team split & schools in each bracket…
Let’s get that $$$$$!!!
Pretty sure I will be in Vegas at the MGM that week for a conference. Need to find some customers who like college basketball.

I think it bears repeating that B12 Commissioner Brett Yormark negotiated a partnership with the Players Era Tournament in 2025, that Players Era would give automatic bids to the top 8 B12 teams in the league standings. That agreement runs through 2030. That is at least $1M per team minimum, and additional money if the team advances in the Players Era Tournament.
The B12 Commissioner working hard on conference branding and adding revenue in the pockets of B12 schools.

I wouldn’t make the deals for too long. These tournaments will be popping up everywhere.

Expensive, but awesome, no doubt. But with it being the week before Thanksgiving my son, my guide and tour guide, won’t be able to go this year. But for those who haven’t been, it is a great experience.
One last grain of advice, wait until the last day or so and you can get the game tickets much cheaper…we did it for all three games last year and the four of us save a lot of money.
Money we spent on food and shows lol…

This is already my plan…
We had gone the previous year and the crowds at the games weren’t very good so we decided to use stubhub the day before each game and it worked like a charm, especially with four of us there…

It’s very disappointing that they moved us weekends. The cost of the trip will more than double being moved from the deadest week in Las Vegas to what is the biggest single moneymaking event in the history of Las Vegas. There will be half the number of games to watch and get in on the action. We potentially play the same schools again for the second and third year in a row?
The MSG announcement sure put a smile on my face after what I had thought would be the third yearly Vegas trip got messed up so bad!
