Saw something somewhere that indicated UH would not be participating this year. Last 2 years were the best Thanksgiving ive ever had. Will suck if true.

Why split in an 8 team and 16 team?
I appreciate what this is doing for NIL, but this tournament is getting a little ridiculous. I would not be surprised to see other NIL tournaments pop up to compete with this, 24 teams is wayyyy too much and it’s starting to sound like they’re attaching some brands then snubbing them from the main stage

Argh, we are playing the weekend before Thanksgiving, not Thanksgiving week. Much harder for me to get off. Boo! I’ve been the last two years.
Another issue for fans of teams playing the week before Thanksgiving is dealing with the Formula 1 Las Vegas race crowd that same week/weekend. Quite a bit of competition for lodging.

The first year it was the more wins the more NIL money you got.
Second year it probably 800k due to the larger field.
Seriously have no idea how it’ll be this year. 24 teams is just way too many. At this point another form of tournament should pop up if they want to have two separate brackets then have them play an OOC in Conference season for the ‘undisputed championship’ or so.
The two week split bracket is just silly to me.
The two bracket champions should play for the undisputed championship at least…

I would want to play Florida and UNLV if we are in that bracket.
They’ll probably seed us so that we only get to meet in the finals…
