In the first segment, the hosts talk about the strengths the Roadrunners will bring to the table against the Cougars. Dunlap and Yanez focus on QB Frank Harris, the three returning top receivers and the Alamodome atmosphere.
Then in the second segment (14:28), Dunlap and Yanez discuss the Houston offensive line. Houston head coach Dana Holgorsen has spoken highly of center Jack Freeman and how he has grown after losing his starting spot in 2021. The pair talk about Freeman, the rest of the O-line and also the running back position, including Ta’Zhawn Henry, Brandon Campbell and Stacy Sneed.
Lastly in the third segment (29:08), Dunlap and Yanez talk about the Cougars’ defense, and how they are using being so close to winning the American Athletic Conference championship in 2021 as motivation, but also as a starting point to create their own identity.
