Watching Delreco highlights and I’m thinking we got J’Wan 2.0 but he can actually stretch the floor.

Delreco Gillespie
Heavy minutes for CJ Hadnot…
Good minutes for Braden East, Arafan Diane & Ikenna Alozie but not sure how they shake out…

Im leaning Diane starting. I heard good things so far. I originally said Delrecco, but im switching. Diane is going to be good for at least 25 minutes per game.
If Delrecco is on the second team going against Tugler and Diane in practice, he will definitely be ready once we get in the Big 12 schedule to give us 10 off the bench.
We should have a real big man rotation this year
Yeah… Idk about Diane starting… 5 star #1 center in the country screams starter but I’ve read some things about his fitness and post skills needing improvement. Couple that with learning the defense, which almost all of our big man rotation has to do, then I see him coming off the bench… but that size can’t be taught!

I would be surprised if Diane starts over Gillespie. True freshman over a senior who is slated to start?
Let’s see how the season unfolds. If Diane ends up starting we will know he had earned it.

I swear ever year we have someone from the middle east or north africa enter the portal and report they’re on the way here and they don’t come.

Diane has already dropped 10-15 lbs since arriving.
IMO conditioning is not going to be an issue when it’s go time.
I like Gillespie but Diane is going to be a beast on defense.

Yeah… I’m not worried about him being fit… I know S&C has that covered.
But these are the biggest “issues” to fix going into next season.
Really learning the monster & developing his offensive game are biggest ???s…
I LOVE our frontcourt with Tugler, Diane, Gillespie & East!
