Cruz Davis didn’t really have a good game against Bama in the tourney but I’ve seen a few of Hofstra games and he seems like a good shooter and can play make for others. Plus seemed like he had energy and effort on the defensive end.
Come to Houston and he can start at the 2 along Dedan. Mercy 6 man off the bench.

How about this kid as our 4th Big? Been part of a nice developmental program at SCU under Sendek, and he’s a local Houston Kid. 8p/4r as a 7’1" sophomore there. Our staff must be very familiar with him.

Burton committed to IU
It might be being reported by others, I havent seen it, which is why i was curious if pesik knew of others reporting it. Twitter’s search used to be fantastic for stuff like that, but since Elon took over, the search is close to useless. They are supposed to be fixing it, but they have been saying that for years.
I wonder if got the 4mil he was asking for. Not worth that price. I think he is a nice player but that is overpaying.
With East we would have 10 on the roster. Essentially a starting 5 and a backup for each position.

Like I repeatedly have said…whoever Samp wants is who I want. I do think Burton went up in his price. I think it is likely a big IU alum stepped up. That is totally fine. I think the balancing act that CKS has to play is get the best value you can and have enough money to spread around to address other areas of need.
If what I heard that Lamar Wilkerson got at Indiana was correct, then it is likely that Burton got what he was asking for from them.
My only problem with this is we don’t know who Samps wants. When we sign a guy I would like to know if we got the guy he wanted or if we had to settle. Since we can’t really know this we have to discuss who we think is best
