Post Game Thread: Your HOUSTON COUGARS defeat #19 SMU Mustangs 44-37

I didn’t see balding mullet as a side effect on the list.

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: LOL.

Jones needs financial advice from Case or Fertitta or both for a seven year NFL career.

Wow, that was a good play. I saw the blocked pass live, but didn’t see he had already hurdled a blocker just to get there!!! holy box jumps batman!

My little sister went to Georgetown on a swimming scholarship, but she did the club swimming stuff with the UH coaches when she was younger so she swam in the old Melcher pool and the new Rec Center pool. She came to the game today because her Fiance is a Mustang… (though he is also a coog via lawschool so he’s a good one) they both couldn’t beleive how much better campus is than it was. From her perspective 13 years ago and swimming stuff, but even his perspective from just a couple of years ago. They were both cooing over the improvements and how great Khator is. A guy at our tailgate was talking about deciding where to do law school or some other graduate program and my future “little” Brother was talking about how much better UH was than other options. Not only higher ranked, but how many more business connection that will further one’s career you will make at our wonderful University.
It made me smile.

What a great game, one of the best I’ve attended.

I have watched that kickoff a few dozen times since the game ended. I’m trying to remember what I was doing in the stands. I was going nuts. I think I blacked out, I may have kissed a stranger, I’m not sure… :joy:

I was almost convinced to go to a bar to watch Astros over going to the actual game at TDECU

Thank goodness I made the right decision. Game was awesome. Wish a few more seats were filled but given the circumstances I’m not upset. I was fine with attendance. Crowd was rocking

Yeah I saw that too! It’s an improvement.

Last night is up there with the 2015 Memphis game and Keenums 2-day drive against Texas Tech at Robertson in terms of exciting wins.

I was there for Memphis. Unforgettable game. Postma became a legend that night

I’m a 2018 grad, so best games I’ve been to so far are Memphis 2015, OU 2016, Louisville 2016 and definitely SMU 2021

Excited for the Big 12, it will be nuts

Oklahoma and Louisville were great wins with amazing crowds, but both were relatively comfortable wins.

As far as heart pounding, nerve wracking, down to the wire wins, I think it’s TT, 2015 Memphis and 2021 SMU. I’m sure I’m forgetting some others but those are the ones that stand out.

Being at OSU was pretty stressful
