My plan is to get there at 3 pm and wait in line to get a parking spot for my crew. Plan to enjoy this Texas heat and sit on the back of my truck and watch the beginning of the Texans game.

The heat is not really heat. A little bit of shade, take a canopy, and 80 degrees is not that bad. When the sun starts to set at 4:30, the temperature will be perfect.

yep, really cant call 80 heat in houston; it can be 80 any day of the year; enjoy it and be thankful its not 90 plus; which can happen, even in december.

Bad day to ask! We’re experiencing a heat wave and the snow is melting. I’m tearing up the yard making preparations for our upcoming move to our lovely little Iowa Dream House.
Currently 42 degrees with windchill of 34.
Living the dream up here in God’s country, my friend. Living the dream

Edit: My wife is feeling less gracious about it. I told her about your weather and she said, “Ugh, tell them I said, F you !”

At least the 4th legit blizzard of the year. Maybe 5th or 6th. Never a good sign when you start losing track, and it’s not even January…

Snowmobiling is pretty big. The ditches are perfect for it because they are deep as **** and fairly uniform because all the fields up here are tiled.
The geography in the good part of the state naturally would be tall grass prairie mixed wetland. Iowa is sneaky one of the most man-made engineered places in the world. Lot of people dont know that. Very little of the state is natural. It’s all been geo-engineered for maximum farming efficiency.
It’s the opposite of irrigation. Its more like de-irrigation. That’s why it floods all the time. Great for Snowmobiling tho. There’s a jump every quarter mile or more. You could definitely 4wheel it til it gets too overgrown. It’s ditchweed city, no chemdawg tho LOL.
