Pres Signs Executive Order to ‘Save College Sports’

In the end though, only one of those teams is playing for the title.

Kentucky is #1 by far in basketball NIL, and they didn’t make it out of the second round.

Some teams, like UH…simply do more with less!

Go see the NIL list posted on the basketball board.

I copied and pasted it here just a few posts above.

We definitely ain’t an NIL powerhouse, even in basketball.

And in football, at least as of 2024, we were dead last in the Big 12.

Someone will have to show me 2025 or 2026 numbers to the contrary to convince me otherwise.

So far, no one has.

Hey listen, I’d love to believe that we went from dead last in NIL to a powerhouse in the space of 1.5 to 2 years. But unless and until someone shows me those numbers to that effect from a reliable source (still waiting), I have no reason to convert.

Kentucky spent a lot on nil for basketball and issues arose such as team chemistry and players simply being selfish wanting only money. I think you need good coaching and some decent amount of nil like UH has and we will be ok. Basketball is sweet 16 and football is gonna be more than ok with Willie and our nil funding.

Indiana did well with nil and great coaching
Lsu and A&M spent millions and failed
Smu spent millions in nil and did just ok
Tech spent millions and probably got a good deal on money spent.
So it’s a mixed bag as of now.

With Willie and our current nil , I think we will be a top 25 team and basketball should be more than ok bc it takes less money and we have great coaching in that sport.

O’Brien at Lsu spent 25 mil last yr and we beat lsu in the bowl game.
