Pretty much how I’d do it to return some balance to the sport. Hope it sticks. Probably won’t though

I think Coaches leaving before the season is over ruins college football more than players transferring.
Let’s make coaches sit out a year before they can change schools

Tax media payments to conferences and corporate sponsorship payments to schools at 99% for the total value above $10M per receiving school. Offset federal grant funding dollar for dollar for states in which the highest paid state employee is a coach of an athletic team.

It’s funny that he’s pointing back to legislation that died last year because it had bipartisan opposition.

Got me with “STRIPPED”

Exactly. Or at least move the window of when they can leave. What happened with Ole Miss this year was ridiculous.

A roll of toilet paper has more value and usefulness than this EO.

Well, it’s something. What we have now is just the Wild West.

Eh, if it does nothing, then it is nothing. And it isn’t binding on anyone, so it’s just a bunch of words.

Like most EOs, this one is about as valuable and meaningful as a grain of sand in the desert.

There is no “issue” with college sports; the fact that player transfers make it difficult for coaches to build teams and for fans to get attached is not a problem worthy of federal legislation. If you as a fan can’t get behind a team because your supposed favorite player decided that he no longer wanted to play at your school, well sorry but that’s life. The level of stupidity and immaturity among thecitizenry of this country is astounding. It is shocking that it still even exists.

If they were really on board, they would all have approved the CSC agreement. This is lip service.

I just like to see the pot stirred. Having an appliance salesman offer your starting forward 10 million to leave your school is bull#%.

You can’t even do that in the NBA.
