Prez-napping!

Mods, do what you must.

But I’m a firm believer that college educated people should be discussing this openly.

If you disagree, then so be it.

Invading a country just so Chevron and Exxon can drill for more oil?

Big whoop it’s not like we haven’t done this before

Bruh… that doesnt rationalize the action.

I mean… when you’re committed to doing unilateral unconstitutional lawless military incursions then rationalization based in reality isn’t something you’re concerned about at all tbh.

The rationale is that China was buddy buddying with Venezuela, and the US doesn’t like it

Can’t say I’m surprised by this action with all the recent rhetoric emanating from
WH. Seems like the next logical step once you buy into piracy as being justified
and attacks and murder on alleged “narco-terrorists” are okay too.

Greenlanders better watch the sky for a new flag flying. I think the odds of
something happening there has just went up as well for 2026.

I’m all for annexing Greenland, but not by force

It’s not a left or right discussion really. I see it more as a discussion of
what standards do we respect in terms of national sovereignty ?

There will be no serious person defending Maduro. His criminality doesn’t excuse illegal actions done to capture him. The end does not justify the means.

I’m guessing this is not the type of talks on drug trafficking that
were being mentioned way back on 1/1/26.

Less talk, more action seems to be our guiding principle.
And might makes right. Unless it’s a Putin with nuclear missiles.

You dont go around capturing sovereign leaders just because you dont like their actions.

It is not a left right thing but I guess your cool with presidential kidnappings so oil companies can drill for oil.

He violated internstional law.

Creates a distabilizing situation and erodes trust of other countries.

It violates the rule of law and it’s unethical.

Please defend it for us.

Please try to keep this focused on the issue and don’t attack others.

This is a huge current event so I want everyone to be able to discuss it here. That said, it’s clearly on if not over the line, so please try to be civil.

You can’t keep my slurp gif down! Cause you know the brigade is going to deserve it

Anyways this is clearly a violation of just about everything. It’s based on lies, not even good ones. Just 2003 Iraq with Saddam swapped out for Maduro and fentanyl swapped for WMD’s

But this isn’t anything the US should be proud of in anyway. These are acts of fake toughs.

Every justification falls apart after 1 second of rational interrogation. A shameful day for our country.

Well you know that 1 second won’t be applied by any of this action or admin’s defender

lol

It was either the US or China

Who would you rather have in control of arguable the largest oil reserves in the world

Release the files

Respectfully, grow tf up.

It makes no sense they are going to prosecute him for drug trafficking but then there is this…

I guess Maduro’s real crime was he didn’t buy enough presidential crypto coins.
