This is interesting
I doubt there’s any connection, but if this means no more phone calls asking if I want to sell my house, I’m all for it.
And the short answer is NO. Unless you agree to $637,892.88. I’ll negotiate on the two figures following the decimal point.
Actual dialogue:
“Sir, do you have any idea what your house is worth?”
“It’s worth every penny I told you. Hey, you asked.”
I get those calls all the time.
Sometimes I see how far I can get before they realize I don’t own a house.
So help me, one time a caller decided my price was out of their range, so they asked if I had another house to sell.
“Well, I’ve got some ocean-front property in Arizona” (I pronounced it “A-ree-zo-nuh”).
“What’s the address?”
I stifled a laugh and responded, “I’m not sure. I’ll have to look it up.” After a pause, the caller hung up. Someone doesn’t know his geography or George Strait songs.
