Proof of the ruination of college sports

Texas-Purdue 6pm on CBS

Houston-Illinois 9pm truTV

A wipeout vs FF quality

Better for our fans in Houston… no late arrival excuses for 9pm…

Ratings driven.

The 9pm timeslot works great for me. 6pm, a lot of people are just getting off work, so maybe more casual viewers at 9.

Our ratings have been ridiculously high this year…

9pm is better than 6pm. I get home after 6 and don’t get settled in to turn on the TV until about 7.

TruTV vs CBS tho?

Besides, regardless of late arrivals a 10pm Eastern Time start is a ratings killer.

Only problem with our start time is we’ll finish close to midnight and then a short turnaround to the next game if we win. Not much rest.

I don’t mind the start time but it’s the principle of it. I am actually looking forward to seeing the ratings for the two games.

Will disagree with the OP on one point. I think Texas has a shot.

Funny, because if our game was at 6p, we would be complaining about the traffic and how empty TC would be.
9pm is perfect for those of us going.

I’ll have my crow! plucked, degutted and with the head cut off.

Hate to say it but Texas-Purdue is an automatic instant classic. What a finish! Hate to say but hats off to the horns.

Where’s my white flag?
