I know this is derailing the thread, but it is kind of important. And I don’t see a thread for complaints. The ads are absolutely not coming from key words in the thread. Some of the ads suggest adult content. And for those who say it is tied to what I’m searching, that can’t be true since I see those ads on my work laptop (and only for this website). I don’t think I’ve seen them on my home laptop. Which is weird and why my best guess is that it is tied to other people on the network since my work laptop is the only one I travel with where I’m outside the firewall from work and I primarily see the ads after travel. No one else is on my home network.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but I’ve thought about paying the fee to ad free to make it stop. The adult ad suggesting “nasty pics” of some 1950 tv actress is kind of funny but I don’t want it popping up on my laptop at work. And yes, I know we have a strip club that sponsors the site, but the ads are way more suggestive than the banner. And to reiterate, this is the only website where I’m seeing those types of ads. It has something to do with the service this website if using.

This website is using Google AdSense, the standard for online advertising. If you have a specific issue with an ad, please DM me, and I’ll look into it. But Google has hundreds of thousands of ads they could potentially show here, so I can’t know about them before you see them.

I think it was rtcoog that used the term “rack” in a thread devoid of sexual connotation and right below it I get an ad teasing, “Karoline Leavitt’s rack.”
That’s why I thought it was tied to words in the thread.

I appreciate Joprior23 as well. Get disappointed with the rest of the board when they harass because something he says is going to happen does not. He is sharing information he has and we all know kids change their minds.
