Thing is that Austin was not highly recruited at the P4 level. UH was the only P4 school that offered him as a QB.
He would’ve gotten better P4 offers if he recruited as a WR.
With that said, Austin is going to get more exposure if he transitions to a WR/Returner due to his incredible speed. I don’t think people truly understand how fast he is.
For him to get QB1, he would have to transfer to a G5 at this point.
It’s pretty obvious Willie is building the program around Keisean, and Keisean is the reason why we’re are getting/going to get 4 stars
The portal is 100% not open. You can declare you’re in the portal, and 247 will put it on that list. FCS and D2 players can get in the portal right now, but can’t visit FBS programs until January 2nd.

Best not to judge QB by height though. Better to see what they can do, IMO.

They have to wait to officially enter the portal, but they can say they intend to enter the portal at any time and then officially enter on January 2.

What are the consequences for declaring early? They don’t have to play in the bowl game?
You are all correct and wrong at the same time. Technically you are but who is going to monitor your cell phone, emails? Tempering?
Players that “unofficially” enter the portal more than likely have an idea of where they are going or at least have their agents do the work.
The visit side to it is very “romantic”
“I have Billy Bob on the line with $500k”
“I’ll take it”

I don’t get how so many think KH is just going to waltz in and presto QB1…CW is pretty damn good QB, especially for Willie Ball and I guarantee he’s not scared of the competition for QB1. IF KH beats him out, it means he could be that generational kind of player…but lets see him play before we appoint him as the 2nd coming of Danny Davis and Greg Ward rolled into one.

You can add with: Why would HCWF give the starting QB job to Keisean because he is a five stars recruit?
Think about it friends. That would be the worst possible LESSON that HCWF could give to Keisean and more importantly…THE TEAM.
I always have to double check a post when I read post like that. HCWF is successful because everything he does is about…the team. This is why this team never quit.

Tell me about it. The ads have nothing to do with what I’m browsing. It’s got to be tied to other people I’m sharing a network with. I get really strange ads when I come back from travel where I share a network with the Army guys. LOL
