Lots of complaints about them shutting down the only road to Boca Chica Beach without warning which happened today.

Well that sums it up
Growing up in the area we normally went to Boca Chica for a beach day. Hardly ever South Padre. Surf fishing at or near the mouth of the Rio Grande. Simpler times back then.

My bride grew up in San Bonito.

I’m from Brownville. San Benito just up the road. They were a worthy rival to our basketball teams. Life was at a different pace in the RGV back then.
